3 Ingredient Chutney




Ingredients


Carrot chopped  - 1 cup


Urad dal - 1 tbsp


Green chilli - 2-3 (adjust according to spiciness)


Oil - 2 tbsp


To temper:


Oil - 1 tbsp


Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp


Curry leaves - 1 sprig



Instruction


1. Add oil to a hot pan, throw in urad dal and fry till golden. Make sure you do not burn it as it will change the taste and colour of the chutney



2. Add the green chillies and carrots, saute for a minute and cook covered for 5-7 minutes



3. Turn off the stove, cool it completely



4. Grind it to a chutney consistency by adding salt and a little water if required.



5. Temper with the ingredients in the To Temper table.



This chutney goes well with Idly , Dosa, Chapathi and as a rice accompaniment.
