Cabbage Kootu (No grind version)

Cabbage is loaded with nutrients. A cup of cabbage is said to have 1/3rd of our daily vitamin c intake. Cabbage is also a rich source of fibre and is recommended for people in weight loss plans.

Cabbage is definitely not my husband's favourite, however I make it as a kootu with Dal which he likes. It can be a bit spicier than any other kootu and a bit thick as well.

This kootu goes well with rice, as a side dish for any Puli/kara kuzhambu, rasam rice and also as an accompaniment for Rotis.
